An award-winning Quest experience that takes K-12 learners inside a virtual cleanroom to explore silicon wafers and the core steps of semiconductor manufacturing.
Microchip Makers VR takes learners inside a virtual cleanroom where they can explore silicon wafers and participate in the core steps of semiconductor manufacturing using Quest 2 and 3.
I shaped the learning flow, designed the interactions, and developed the experience in Unity while collaborating with the Institute for Microelectronics Education and Research and the GIMM student developer team.
The experience is now used in dozens of Idaho classrooms and earned a Silver Medal in K-12 Education at the 2025 International Serious Play Awards.
